This gorgeous two bedroom Hydeaway is located in the very popular Blackstone Mountain Lodge, offering a year-round outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs, heated underground parking complete with EV charging stations, a well equipped fitness room, and much more! Cougar Creek Hydeaway is located at the very end of the hallway, which adds to its wonderful feeling of seclusion and privacy. Toss in the beautiful view of the iconic Three Sisters and you have the makings of a perfect Hydeaway for you and your friends or family! Upon arrival, the suite immediately opens up into the kitchen, living, and dining area, with the south facing bedrooms on either side of the living room. Each bedroom has direct access to the balcony that comes with a table and seating for four all constructed from recycled plastics. In-suite dining is a cinch with the fully equipped kitchen and lovely dining, and accompanied by barstool seating at the kitchen counter. If you are looking to BBQ, there are guest facilities right next to the pool where you can chat with fellow travelers or enjoy a beverage while you cook. After travelling for a while, laundry adds up! Freshen up even in the middle of a trip with the new stacked washer/dryer with complimentary detergent. Relax in front of the fireplace and enjoy some R&R in front of the big screen TV or enjoy extra sleeping space with the convenient pullout sofa. Neighbourhood
Cougar Creek Hydeaway is located at 170 Kananaskis Way and is within short walking distance of One Wellness Spa, Epic Liquors & Spirits, Take a Hike Market (Cafe). The beautiful Policeman’s Creek boardwalk, which will take you into town, is about 8 minutes away on foot, and beyond that is one of our favourite restaurants, Bridgette Bar Canmore, and The Alder Cafe + Grocery. Cougar Creek Hydeaway is centrally located for all the beautiful sightseeing spots in the nearby National Parks, or in the neighbouring provincial parks.
Getting Around
Vehicles are still the quickest and most efficient way of exploring the mountains, but ROAM public transit is quite extensive now and can be great when you are tired of driving. Cycling, especially if you rent an E-Bike, can be a quick, efficient, and fun way to explore Canmore and the surrounding area. There are plenty of designated bike and walking paths all over town. Canmore also offers a taxi service.

Canmore Getaway
The spacious rooms gave us lots of room to relax. Beds were comfortable. Also liked having a tv in each room. Kitchen had essentials for dishes/pans & salt/pepper/sugar. It was great to be able to give our truck a quick rinse in the parkade. Also appreciated the park pass. It’s a quick walk to nice coffee shops. The unit is in a popular hotel that is starting to show its age, but it is still a great place to stay. It was great for us as 4 adults. I’d recommend this place for a family or for 2 couples. The detailed instructions for check-in and parking were excellent. I would’ve liked a extra blanket for each room, but other than that we had all we needed! Thanks for a great stay.
Incredible Mountain Views
Highly recommend staying here. Place was so peaceful with incredible mountain views. Entire apartment was super clean . Loved all the welcome touches for guests. Host was super responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
